Niarbyl Sunset – Video Time-Lapse

OK – so its been a while since my last post, what can I say – we’ve not had the best weather for time-lapsing recently! As a memory of better days here’s one I shot at the start of May down at Niarbyl in the west of the Island. We went kayaking one evening so I left the camera snapping from my car window. I like how people are drawn to a good sunset and you can see them flitting about at the end of the shot. The sun is a little over-exposed but I think it works well. Here’s to some better weather…..

Gaiety Theatre Show – Time-Lapse

I shot this time lapse at the Gaiety Theatre in Douglas while filming a show for the Christine Wild Theatre School. The show itself was around 3 hours long…  interesting to see it whizz by in 13 seconds.

Juan Moore Exhibition – Time-Lapse

This week’s time-lapse is a bit early, and slightly different than usual. It’s from last night’s Juan Moore art exhibition at the Villa Marina. Wanted to capture this on a slower shutter so there was a blur of people buzzing about… but something got lost in translation. Still works though – what do you think?

Cregneash Village – Short Time-Lapse

This week’s Friday time-lapse was shot in a friends garden overlooking Cregneash village. I would have been fairly ordinary but for the light that passes over the scene as the sun sets out of shot. Its quite short but there is some nice detail to look at, like the sheep swarming over the fill in the far background (need to watch full-screen to spot this).

Isle Of Man eClub – Highlights Video

This is a highlights video we shot last week at the Isle Of Man eClub. The interviews feature Kara McCabe from ILS and Richard Ebbutt from Continent 8. We shot the interviews upstairs in the Courthouse restaurant as this was (marginally) quieter than the club downstairs. Would be great to hear some comments!
